WEST COAST SWING is the official dance of California and is categorized by its slickness and really emphasizes connection with a partner. This dance developed out of another dance called Lindy hop and is adaptable to a range of modern music including R&B, blues and contemporary styles.

This 5 week introduction is great for dancers and non-dancers new to the genre. We will continue developing the foundation of the dance along with some basic concepts of lead and follow techniques. This series is designed to take after you’ve completed West Coast Swing Introduction (5 week) series class that starts on September 4th.

Dates: 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2

WEST COAST SWING LEVEL 1

Dates: 10/9, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13

*Each class consists of 45 minutes of instruction followed by 15 minutes of practice. Students are welcome and encouraged to join 15 minutes prior to the start of their class and participate in the practice sessions as well. 

TUITION:

Drop-in (1 hour): $35.00

1 full 10 week course (10 hours): $250.00 (After 9/1: $300.00)

2 full 10 week courses (20 hours): $440.00 (After 9/1: $540.00)

3 full 10 week courses (30 hours): $570.00 (After 9/1: $750.00)

*option to do 5 weeks if you cannot commit to 10
